Miscellaneous Keys

SHIFT : When used in conjuction with other keys, [SHIFT] allows access the operations displayed above the buttons.

CONST : When used in conjuction with other keys, provides access built-in constant values shown above the keys. See Constants for information.

ENG : Decrements the exponent by 3, or increments the exponent by 3 when used in conjunction with [SHIFT]. See the Engineering Mode for mode information. Also used to change between hexadecimal and octal representation in base-n mode.

COPY : Copies the current value into the Windows clipboard. If used with [SHIFT], allows a numeric value to be pasted into the calculator.

OFF : Close DreamCalc Pro. Same as the [X] windows button on the title bar.

hyp : Provides access to the hyperbolic versions of the trigonometric functions. Also used to change between decimal and binary representation in base-n mode.

RCL : Memory register recall. Press [RCL], followed by the variable key to recall a previously stored value.

STO : Memory register store. Press [SHIFT] [STO], followed by the variable key to store a value under that key.

(-- : Open parantheses.

--) : Close parantheses.

Min : Copies the current value into the calculator's independent memory.

M+ : Adds the current value to that already in the calculator's independent memory.

MR : Recalls the value previously stored in the calculator's independent memory.

M- : Subtracts the current value from that already in the calculator's independent memory.

EXP : Allows entry of the exponent part of a number. More about exponents.

AC : All cancel. Clear current input.

DEL : Numerical input back space.

CLD : Clears all statistical, cash-flow and financial registers.

Rnd : Internally rounds the number shown in the display to the precision setting of the calculator.

Ans : Recalls the result from the last time the equals key was pressed. Useful when working in true order.
